As you may be aware there are changes to the law on data protection with new regulations known as the General Data Protection Regulations - or GDPR. GDPR enhances your rights in relation to your personal data.

As a result, Central Bedfordshire Council have updated their Data Protection policy which is available from the website or by writing to the Corporate Data Protection Officer at accessinfo@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk

The information you have provided when you enrolled your child or yourself to activities delivered by Inspiring Music will be used by Inspiring Music and Central Bedfordshire Council only as is permitted by law. Central Bedfordshire Council is registered under the Data Protection Act 2018 and is the Data Controller for this purpose.

We haven’t changed the way we use, share or keep your information safe. 

In order to fulfil the requirements set by Arts Council England (ACE) and the Department for Education (DfE) to promote quality music education, and provide progression routes to further the musical journey of children in Central Bedfordshire, Inspiring Music collaborates with partners and organises events to give children the opportunity to enrich their learning and perform in front of an audience in various venues. During such events, we may take pictures or film the events and use these for training or our publicity materials, website and social media outlets. In such instances we will not use the full name (which means first name and surname) of children in the accompanying text or photo caption. We may use group photographs or footage with very general captions.

We will not include personal information
 

Snap Surveys is being using on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council to collect permissions for the Inspiring Music Service in line with new General Data Protection Regulations.
