Become an Inspiring Music Youth Consultant

We are looking for young people to help us to shape what music you get to play, what instruments/equipment you get to learn and what sounds you get to create, in Central Bedfordshire. 

If you are aged between 13 - 18 years, we want to hear from you what you need to be the musician you want to be. It doesn’t matter if you make music, or just love music, we want to hear from you. 

Come along to one of our focus groups

London Based DJ, Event Producer and Creative Roche Blair will be joining us to tell you about her career in music, and to help us with some creative thinking exercises.  The ideas you generate will help us to understand what young people in Central Bedfordshire need to succeed in music. 

There’ll be free food, a warm welcome and a thank you gift of £10 Spotify gift card for taking part.  

Focus group dates

Focus groups are taking place on the following dates and times and we have twelve spaces available at each session. Tell a friend and book your places at Eventbrite.  

  • Saturday 5th November, 10am – 12pm at Dunstable South (Downside) Children Centre (Oakwood Ave, LU5 4AS). Book your place

  • Saturday 5th November, 2pm – 4pm at Biggleswade Youth Centre (Mead End, Biggleswade SG18 8JU). Book your place

  • Saturday 12th November, 10am – 12pm at Houghton Regis (Tithe Farm) Children Centre (Tithe Farm Rd, LU5 5JB). Book your place

  • Saturday 12th November, 1:30pm - 3:30pm at Flitwick Children Centre (Malham Close, MK45 1PU). Book your place

Bookings for our Dunstable and Biggleswade groups are open until 3 November with our Houghton Regis and Flitwick group bookings closing on 10 November 2022.

Meet Roche Blair

Roche is a young London-based DJ, Event Producer and Creative.

She is a music enthusiast with a passion to lift and spread the voices of the UK underground music scene. She has skills in producing content aimed to raise social engagement and curating innovative ideas for a range of different projects. She works as a Youth Voice associate for sls360 Consultancy Firm, specialising in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
